I graduated from Istanbul University Department of Biology in 2015. During my undergraduate education, I worked in a different courses’ laboratories at Biology department as a volunteer. In 2016 I began my master education at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Nanoscience and Nanoengineering Department. In my thesis, I studied collagen extraction, production collagen nanofibers via electrospinning method, crosslinking of collagen nanofibers and their characterizations. After completed my master education in 2018, I started PhD program at same department. My research topics are wet-spinning, fiber materials, mineralization of collagen, cell-biomaterial interactions, and biocompatibility tests. In addition, I am involved in the structural analysis of collagen by liquid crystal Mueller matrix polarimetry and structural characterization of mucilage by Mueller matrix polarimetry and Raman spectroscopy.
